DLRC: how to check the daily infrastructure of a selected house

Dubailand Residence Complex should be assessed by a specific address, and not by the broad name Dubailand.

Where to start

Start with the exact community name and building coordinates. The large sign Dubailand conflates different places and makes it difficult to understand the route to work in advance. Within the DLRC itself, neighboring houses may also have different environments.

Make a small map of everyday needs: groceries, pharmacy, walking, delivery and transport. Check out what's readily available today. For a new building, look separately to see if the main pedestrian route runs along an active construction site.

What to check

  • Exact house point
  • Path to household services
  • Entering the desired road

A property viewing checklist

Compare two specific homes in Dubailand Residence Complex instead of judging the whole district by its image. Record answers after each viewing and use the same criteria for both.

Keep these notes from each viewing

  1. Travel from each address to Local cafes and shops at the time you would normally make the journey. Routes within one district can differ materially.
  2. If schooling matters, check the route to The Aquila School, the relevant year group and admission rules directly with the school. Proximity does not guarantee a place.
  3. Check the route from each address to Shops inside and outside the area and its opening hours. If it is a club or private facility, confirm access rules and any separate fees.
  4. For both homes, record usable area, condition, parking, shared facilities and annual ownership costs. Compare documents and the actual building, not only the community name.
