Meraas awards nearly AED 1 billion contract for Nad Al Sheba Gardens

Construction has started on 272 villas and townhouses in Phase 7; completion is expected in the second quarter of 2028.

On 24 September, Meraas, part of Dubai Holding Real Estate, announced a construction contract worth nearly AED 1 billion with GCC Contracting. The contractor will deliver Phase 7 of Nad Al Sheba Gardens: 130 villas with four to seven bedrooms and 142 three-bedroom townhouses. The contract also covers pool houses, utilities and infrastructure. According to the developer, work has started on site and completion is anticipated in the second quarter of 2028.

The stage of the project matters to buyers. A signed construction contract and work on site are verifiable steps, but the homes have not yet been handed over and the completion date remains a forecast. Before reserving a particular unit, check its availability, the sale agreement, payment schedule and handover terms with the developer. The contract value covers construction of the phase; it is neither the price of an individual home nor a forecast of investment returns.

Nad Al Sheba Gardens is presented as a family-oriented community with access to Downtown Dubai, Meydan Racecourse and routes towards the airport.
