Apartment with furniture: how to compare the equipment according to the list

The phrase "fully furnished" only becomes useful once specific items and condition are specified.

What is included in the offer

Make an inventory of furniture, appliances, lighting and textiles. Include makes, models, and condition of significant items. The decor in the photographs, dishes and small appliances may not be included in the actual package.

Convenience and replacement

Check bed sizes, closet capacity and sufficient work surfaces. A beautiful interior does not always correspond to family life. Immediately note the items that will need to be replaced and the conditions for removing the old furniture.

State capture

During the inspection, check the operation of the equipment and any existing damage. Compare the actual apartment to the agreed listing rather than to a general description of a similar property. If you are buying remotely, ask for sequential video of the premises and individual items so as not to draw a conclusion based on several successful frames.
