How often do you cook?

For a short breakfast and regular family dinners, the requirements differ. Assess the work surface, the distance between the sink and the stove, and the space for equipment. An open kitchen brings together socializing, but cooking becomes part of the common room.

Smells and sounds

Look at the exhaust and ventilation devices, check their condition and maintenance. On the plan, mark the position of the sofa, dining table and bedroom doors. The operation of the dishwasher and conversations in the kitchen can be more noticeable in a combined area.

Changes after purchase

Do not count on the ability to freely move communications or erect a partition without checking. Even a small change can depend on the design and regulations of the building. First, evaluate the apartment in its current form, then separately discuss the feasibility and cost of the required transformation.
