Entry verification begins with each traveler's documents. The Russian passport of one parent does not define the rules for the whole family: a spouse or child may have a different citizenship, a different document or a different travel history. Do Russians need a pre-issued visa?

The carrier describes a validity period of six months and a total stay of 90 days. How long should a passport be valid?

The UAE government portal specifies a minimum of six months of passport validity from the date of entry. You need to check the date of entry, not the day of booking. A passport that is technically valid on the date of purchase of the ticket may not meet the requirement to begin the trip.

Check the calendar period from the expected date of entry to the expiration date of your passport. The six-month requirement applies to entry, so a short duration of leave does not eliminate it. If the document does not cover the required period, the issue is resolved before non-refundable payment, rather than trying to compensate by reducing the rest.

Check your first name, last name, number and date of birth with your tickets and reservations. If the ticket was purchased using an old passport, the procedure for changing it should be clarified with the carrier. It cannot be assumed that the presence of a new document automatically corrects the data of all orders.

How to take into account previous trips

Make a table of actual entries and exits: dates, reason for stay and the document used to issue the permit. If a family has flown several times, the history of its members may vary. One parent could spend more time in the country than a child.

Combine all actual dates of previous entries and exits into one calendar. Then request the applicable remaining authorized stay if travel overlaps with the current authorization period. Self-arithmetic addition of trips does not determine migration status: the mode of entry, border control records and the applicable accounting window are all that matter.

Do not base your plan on unverified advice that a short trip will reset the deadline. For repeat or long-term visits, receive confirmation of available stay according to your document and reason. Even correct arithmetic does not replace the service’s response if the status has changed or a different category of permission has been issued.

What to check for a child

Each child individually requires a suitable travel document, correct ticket details and applicable entry conditions. Age, citizenship and composition of accompanying persons are checked for a specific family. If the child is flying with one parent, relative or unaccompanied, find out the requirements of the country of departure, the carrier and the transit route.

Kinship documents may be needed to confirm family ties; It is better to discuss preparations before the trip, especially if the names are different. In this case, you do not need to order translations and certificates of the entire family archive using a universal list from the Internet.
