View from the apartment: direct, side and partial - what to compare

How to compare ads with different type descriptions and not overpay for different characteristics.

The point from which the photograph was taken

The panorama taken from the edge of the balcony may be different from the view from the sofa or bed. On viewing, look from the usual points inside the room. Separately, evaluate what is visible when sitting, since the height of the window sill and fence changes the impression.

Horizon openness

The names "water view" and "partial water view" do not describe the portion of the panorama. Compare real photos of the selected apartment from the same level and direction. The advertising photo from the roof of the complex does not confirm the view from the apartment on the ground floor.

Environment in front of windows

Look at neighboring properties and existing development. Empty space today does not in itself provide a guarantee of an unchanged appearance. If preservation of the panorama is critical, find out what information is available about the territory and separate confirmed conditions from the seller's assumptions.
