Dubai Health reported on preparations for its new Diabetes Center on 15 October. The opening is planned for early 2027. Approved in November 2024, the project is intended to expand preventive care, early detection and specialist treatment.

At the same meeting, the board reviewed Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Hospital. The update covered construction, international partnerships and the appointment of specialist leadership. It did not give an opening date for the cancer hospital. Dubai Health places both projects within the city's growth and the Dubai 2040 urban development plan.

For a family choosing an area for a permanent home, healthcare complements the assessment of schools, transport and everyday services. This announcement describes specialist facilities being developed for the city. When comparing individual homes, the practical picture also includes clinics already operating nearby, routes to them and access arrangements.

Relocation planning benefits from separating available facilities from future projects. Early 2027 is the current opening target for the Diabetes Center; appointment procedures and its service range will become clearer through official launch announcements. Families can therefore plan the services they can use immediately after moving and separately consider Dubai's further development.
