Dubai’s EV Green Charger network had 2,826 charging points by the end of the third quarter of 2026. DEWA cited the updated figure in its 21 October announcement about the sustainable transport pavilion at WETEX. The total also includes stations licensed by DEWA in collaboration with government and private organisations.
This describes the network at a specific date. It is neither the number of new facilities opened during the quarter nor the number of separate charging stations: one location may have several charging points. DEWA says the infrastructure includes fast, ultra-fast, public and wall-mounted chargers.
The announcement concerned the pavilion at WETEX, for which DEWA specified 20–22 October and Dubai World Trade Centre. It covered individual and public transport solutions on land, at sea and in the air. The technologies presented illustrate development directions; they do not by themselves mean that a new city service has launched.
For an electric vehicle owner, checking a specific charging arrangement is more useful when choosing an apartment. Relevant questions include parking access, equipment compatibility, power, payment arrangements and availability at the required time. A point on a map does not explain its operating conditions.
The updated statistic helps show the scale of the city’s infrastructure. When comparing buildings, consider charging within the building and options along the daily route separately: they offer different kinds of convenience that a citywide total cannot establish.
