Sharjah’s Real Estate Registration Department reported the results for January–September 2026. Total monetary transaction volume was AED 46.8 billion, compared with AED 44.3 billion in the same period of 2025. The 5.6% increase refers to the monetary volume of transactions. Published on 13 October, the report covers nine months.

The statistics include 91,560 registration operations of various types. Sales are reported separately: 24,749 transactions worth AED 35 billion across 216 areas. Another separate category is mortgage transactions: 3,839 worth about AED 10.2 billion. For a meaningful comparison, first choose the appropriate category and the same reporting period.

Of the property units sold, residential properties accounted for 19,910, or 80.5%, according to the report. Muwaileh Commercial led activity with 3,440 transactions worth AED 3.9 billion. Al Khan recorded 1,581 transactions worth approximately AED 2 billion. These amounts show the geography of purchases; the prices of comparable apartments and ownership costs need separate analysis.

The “Property in Sharjah” page connects information about life in the emirate with the current catalogue. On 14 October, one listing was found there: a studio in Rehan, Oud & Anbar Residences on Maryam Island. That selection does not represent the entire market covered by the report. When choosing a particular home, compare its area and condition, everyday travel routes, furnishings and total budget. Use turnover figures as context, keeping the distinctions between an area, a project and an individual offer.
